Burlesque performer Dita Von Teese, former wife of seven years to rocker Marilyn Manson, responded to allegations of sexual abuse against him by Evan Rachel Wood, and others. Von Teese said in an Instagram post, while she was “processing the news”, that she supports Wood’s allegations.
“Please know that the details made public do not match my personal experience during our 7 years together as a couple,” Von Teese posted, “Had they, I would not have married him … I left 12 months later due to infidelity and drug abuse.
She continued, “Abuse of any kind has no place in any relationship. I urge those of you who have incurred abuse to take steps to heal and the strength to fully realize yourself.”
HBO’s “WestWorld” star, Evan Rachel Wood, said earlier in the week that she had been sexually and physically abused by her ex fiance, Marilyn Manson, saying that Manson “groomed” her when she was a teenager “and horrifically abused me for years”.
Woods stated, “I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander or blackmail. … I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”

More women have come forward the same week as Wood with similar allegations of sexual abuse against Manson, including Scarlett Kapella, Brittany Leigh, Sarah McNeilly, Ashley Lindsay Morgan, Ashley Walters and Charlyne Yi.
Marilyn Manson has since denied all of the allegations as “horrible distortions of reality”.
