JoJo Siwa’s Perfect Girlfriend Encouraged Her to Come Out as Gay

After recently posting a photo of herself wearing a t-shirt from her cousin that said. “Best Gay Cousin Ever“, 17 year old teen actress confirmed she was gay while appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”.

The former Dance Moms and Nickelodeon star JoJo Siwa said that her friends and family were aware of her sexuality, but she realized that by doing a TikTok with members of the Pride House, she might accidentally out herself by posting one of the videos.

After realizing the Pride Hous could “out” her at any time, Siwa said, “I don’t really mind because it is true, I do have the most amazing, wonderful, perfect, most beautiful girlfriend in the whole world,”

But Siwa said it “felt like a “big risk” to come out as gay publicly, “But if I lost everything that I’ve created because of being myself and because of loving who I wanna love, I don’t want it.”

JoJo said her ‘super encouraging’ girlfriend inspired her to come out as gay, and “One day I was on FaceTime with my girlfriend … and I was like, ‘I kind of just want to post this picture on my [Instagram] Story,’” Siwa explained, “She was super encouraging, she was like, ‘do it’ and I was like, ‘alright’ and I did it … [then I went] back to FaceTiming with her.”

Commenting on the response from her fans since coming out, JoJo told Fallon, “It was the most love I think I’ve ever received,” adding, “It’s not something I’m ashamed of, I just haven’t shown the internet yet.”
