Another New Witness Cooperates in Congressman Matt Gaetz Sex Trafficking Probe

A close friend of former government employee of Joel Greenberg, Florida radio host Joseph “Big Joe” Ellicott, will plead guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and distribution of a controlled substance after cooperating with the prosecutors for months in the sex-trafficking probe of Florida congressman Matt Gaetz (also known by some as “Butthead”, a close friend of “Beavis”). For two years Ellicott sold the ADHD drug Adderall to an unnamed person for $5,000.

According to unsealed court documents Ellicott will plead guilty to working with a government official that took office in 2017 to commit wire fraud, by expediting bribery tied to government contracts signed by the “public official” who took office in 2017. While not named specifically, Joel Greenberg is a former tax collector of Seminole County, Florida who took office on 2017, and has already plead guilty in 2021 to sex trafficking of a minor and other federal crimes.

According to thedailybeast.com Joel Greenberg, an associate of congressman Gaetz, said he learned that a girl both he and the Gaetz had sex with was only 17 at the time. “Immediately I called the congressman and warned him to stay clear of this person and informed him she was underage.”

Greenberg said Matt Gaetz was “equally shocked and disturbed by this revelation” and they would have no further contact with the young girl until she turned 18.

Both Greenberg and Ellicott cooperating with federal investigators in the sex trafficking allegations toward Gaetz, who denies any wrongdoing.

No charges have yet been brought against Gaetz, and congressman’s former girlfriend testified in front of a federal grand jury in January 2020.

Federal Investigators are now focusing on a 3 way call between Gaetz and his girlfriends and another unnamed female woman who recorded the phone call and is cooperating with authorities.
