Famous 90’s Porn star Lisa Ann, who’s real name is Lisa Ann, is telling SpaceX and Tesla billionaire Elon Musk to protect children by banning porn on Twitter when he takes control over the popular social media platform.

Twitter currently allows its users to share pornographic content if it was created consensually, but it can be restricted children under 18 or by users without an acceptable birth date on their profile. Lisa Ann said, “Twitter is the largest distributor of illegal content to minors in the world, something I really hope Elon Musk takes a step ahead.”

After quitting the porn industry in 1997 after an AIDS scare, Ann resumed her porn career in 2006 starring as “Serra Paylin”, a parody of Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin in the Hustler adult film ‘Who’s Nailin’ Paylin?’, released on Election Day in 2008.

Ann quit the industry again in 2014 because of the ‘aggressive and extreme’ nature of new sex videos, and to pursue a new television career and focus on her OnlyFans page, where the ex adult film star sells her old porn videos to her fans.

“Yes, I did porn for many years of my life, and I’m not hiding my past as people tell me every day on social media when I’m wearing clothes,” Lisa Ann explained, “I’m just evolving, and we’re all allowed to evolve. So my disdain for porn on social media has nothing to do with porn, other than the fact that you are sharing it on platforms that have no age gate.”

Ann added, “Twitter is the largest distributor of illegal content to minors in the world, something I really hope Elon Musk takes a step ahead and says, ‘we’re not doing this anymore,’ and if we are, you’ll have to enter in your birthday, there will be an ID situation, there will be levels to this s***, that’s what I’m hoping for.”

Elon Musk said he is buying Twitter for $44 billion to make Twitter a platform for free speech. Speaking about the sale of the social networking service, Musk tweeted, “Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated… I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law.”
