40 years after her infamous Calvin Klein ads, the now 56 year young actress Brooke Shields modeled a new line of Jordache jeans in a variety of poses shot by famous photographer Cass Bird, including a topless photo where Brooke has her back turned to the camera but her bare side-boobs are clearly visible. Jordache said their new jeans reflect the Jordache style: sexy and bold.

Teenage Brooke Shields became infamous for when she originally modeled super-tight fitting jeans for a 1980 Calvin Klein ad campaign when the budding actress was just a flirtatious 15 year old coining the phrase, “Do you know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing.”

Brooke Shields told People magazine she had decided to do the new Jordache Jeans ad because she felt organic wearing the clothes, and also because the message it was sending aligns with her views on age and body positivity, which she promotes with her activist community that she founded, Beginning is Now.

Comparing these new Jordache jean modeling photos to the 1980’s Brooke Shields Calvin Klein ads, Shields said, “I appreciate it more now, It’s such an honor to be my age and be represented. I feel the magnitude of it more. There’s a knowledge that comes with age, and this feels less like a job and more like a privilege.”

Shields said of the famous Jordache slogan, “‘You’ve got the look’ was iconic, Everybody was like, ‘Well, I want the look. You’ve got it, so I want it.'”

“They celebrate the idea of being sexy and bold and they’ve always featured strong, hard-working, ambitious women in their campaigns. It was never just about models. I’ve always appreciated that – it celebrates a different type of advertising and puts the focus on female strength”, Shields added.

Talking about how she was so confident appearing in the topless Jordache ads, Brooke explained that she put in a lot of hard work at the gym, “I worked so hard with my trainer… We did 5 a.m. workouts, but I wasn’t drinking so it was easier to wakeup in the morning,”
