A female with just the name “Gabby”, with no last name provided, wrote on Twitter in an unverified claim that she had been sexually assaulted by actor Ansel Elgort when she was 17. Elgort played the starring role in the upcoming Disney movie, “West Side Story”, directed by Steven Spielberg. Elgort is now 26. Gabby has made her Twitter account privaty after making the sexual assault allegation.
In the Twitter statement, Gabby described how she cried in pain, wring, “I didn’t want to do it the only words that came out of his mouth were ‘we need to break you in.”
Gabby also posted a photo herself sitting by a man that appeared to be Elgort. In 2014, Gabby said that she had tweeted the now 26 year old Ansel Elgort, telling him it would soon be her 17th birthday. Ansel allegedly replied by giving the teen his private Snapchat account and asked her for nude photos, before also asking Gabby if she wanted to have a threesome with one of her dance friends.
“Years later, I have PTSD, I have panic attacks I go to therapy,” Gabby wrote, “He made me think this is how sex was supposed to be. I WAS SO YOUNG AND HE KNEW THAT. He as well said stuff like, ‘you’re going to be such a beautiful young lady when you’re older.” I was f—ing 17,” she said in her statement.
The new Disney movie, West Side Story, is scheduled to be released in public theaters on Dec. 18, 2020. Ansel plays the main character, Tony. Ansel Elgort recently starred in the film adaptation of Donna Tartt’s, “The Goldfinch”, and is also slated to appear in HBO Max’s “Tokyo Vice”.
