Basic Instinct star and sex symbol Sharon Stone had her profile deleted on a popular dating app when other users of the dating site complained they didn’t think it was really her on the site, and reported her dating profile.
The 61 year old actress said she was locked out of her account after other users claimed it was fake, “I went on the @bumble dating sight [sic] and they closed my account,” she tweeted, “and said other users thought the profile “couldn’t possibly be me!!”
The dating site, Bumble, who describes itself as “bringing good people together,” told CNN “Being the icon that she is, we can understand how so many of our users felt it was too good to be true once they noticed her profile wasn’t photo verified.” Bumble restored Sharon Stone’s profile and stated they were so “honored that Ms. Stone wants to be a part of the Hive.”
Sharon Stone had been divorced since 2004 from her second husband, Phil Bronstein, in 1998, after her first three year marriage failed to producer Michael Greenburg in 1987.
