    A petition to have Matt Damon cut out of Ocean’s 8 has gone viral with over 22,000 signatures. The petition was started by ‘Rebecca G,’ and is titled: “Sexual Harassment isn’t a joke – remove Matt Damon from Oceans 8”.

    The petition will be sent to producers Damon’s close friend George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh when it has 25,000 signatures.

    “The all-female reboot of Oceans 8 was supposed to be an empowering film for women,” Rebecca said,”Damon’s inclusion would trivialize the serious nature of the charges against sexual abusers like Weinstein — a show massive disrespect for the brave women speaking out,” she continues.
