Mario Batali Steps Down After Sexual Misconduct Accusations from Four Women

Famed celerity chef Mario Batali, known for his work as a chef, restaurateur and his television appearances, is now on a long growing list of powerful men being accused of sexual misconduct.

Mario Batali, who also has his own popular Food Network television series, owns or co-owns restaurants in major U.S. cities and around the globe. Four women have come forward and accused him of sexual misconduct.

Batali has issued an apology, saying, “I apologize to the people I have mistreated and hurt.”
