Brooke Nevils explained how Matt Lauer forced anal sex on her while she was drunk

Brooke Nevins rape allegations against Today Show host Matt Lauer

35 year old producer and journalist, Brooke Nevils, explained how Matt Lauer anally raped her in Ronan Farrow’s new book, “Catch and Kill”. Nevils revealed that her complaint to NBC was the catalyst for Lauer getting fired from NBC network’s “Today” show in 2017.

Brooke Nevils said she was raped by Lauer during the 2014 Sochi Olympics, but she said she then continued having sex with Lauer even after the alleged rape, and described the relationship as “completely transactional.”

Matt Lauer denieds the rape accusations and claims the affair with Nevils was consensual. Lauer released a statement saying. “In a new book, it is alleged that an extramarital, but consensual, sexual encounter I have previously admitted having, was in fact an assault. it is categorically false, ignores the facts, and defies common sense.”

Nevils said that one evening in Sochi, after having drinks in a bar with her co-anchor Meredith Vieira, they ran into Lauer, who joined them. Nevils said she had six shots of vodka and at the end of the night she ended up going to Lauer’s hotel room, twice. The first time to to retrieve her press credential, which she said Lauer had taken as a joke, and again because he invited her back.

According Farrow’s book, Nevils said once she was back inside Matt Lauer’s hotel room the second time, he was wearing just a T-shirt and boxers, and pushed her against the door and kissed her. Nevils said he then pushed her on the bed, flipping her over, and asked if she liked anal sex.

Nevils said she “was in the midst of telling him she wasn’t interested again when he ‘just did it,’” according to Farrow in an interview with Variety. She said Lauer didn’t use lubricant and the sexual encounter was excruciatingly painful. Lauer then allegedly asked her if she liked it, she told him yes.

“It hurt so bad. I remember thinking, Is this normal?” Nevils said, and claimed she bled for days after the anal rape.

“It was nonconsensual in the sense that I was too drunk to consent. It was nonconsensual in that I said, multiple times, that I didn’t want to have anal sex”, Nevils reportedly told Farrow.

Matt Lauer responded, “I had an extramarital affair with Brooke Nevils in 2014. It began when she came to my hotel room very late one night in Sochi, Russia. We engaged in a variety of sexual acts. We performed oral sex on each other, we had vaginal sex, and we had anal sex. Each act was mutual and completely consensual.”
