Virginia Giuffre accepted an undisclosed settlement from Prince Andrew stemming from the sexual abuse lawsuit brought on by Giuffre years after she claimed the Prince had sex with her on multiple occasions, when she was just 17. Giuffre was introduced to Jefferey Epstein by Ghislaine Maxwell when she was in her teens.
Andrew and Giuffre will both file to dismiss the lawsuit within 30 days, after Giuffre confirms she received the settlement. After receipt, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, will make a “substantial donation” to Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights.
The court acknowledged the suffering by Giuffre and other young girls, along with Prince Andrew’s friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, stating, “It is known that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked countless young girls over many years. Prince Andrew regrets his association with Epstein, and commends the bravery of Ms. Giuffre and other survivors in standing up for themselves and others. He pledges to demonstrate his regret for his association with Epstein by supporting the fight against the evils of sex trafficking, and by supporting its victims.”

Andrew continues to deny the allegations of sexual abuse with a minor, still claiming he did not participate in the sexual exploitation of a minor or witness any such behavior.
