Despite their high-profile breakup, the 41-year-old WWE star John Cena and 34-year-old wrestler and reality TV star, Nikki Bella, are holding out hope for a reconciliation.
“It sucks,” Cena told etonline, “There’s no other way to say [it]. “I love Nicole with all my heart, and that’s that.”
Bella also spoke to the entertainment news outlet, saying, “”I just want us both to live the rest of our lives happy. Hopefully that’s together, maybe it’s not. Right now I’m just focusing on me,” she added. “I think I kind of lost me and now I want to find [myself].”
“John is such an amazing man. He really is the love of my life,” Bella said. “I truly hope one day that we can work it out and get back together. I think there is hope.”
She and Cena are still on speaking terms, despite their high-profile breakup. “We still talk. We go on and off, but yeah, right now we’re talking,” she shared. “It’s nicer when you’re with someone who is understanding because you can keep a really great relationship. So that’s really nice.”
